As a family-run establishment, we officially started hosting guests on April 2023, providing bed and breakfast services; nonetheless, the concept of Elvish Garden dates back to the late summer of 2021 when we started an Instagram feed showcasing homemade and healthy recipes. We called the page: "Elvish Kitchen" and it then morphed into "Elvish Garden."
The concept is inspired by the mythical character of Elves, characterized by their close connection to nature and often portrayed as graceful and enigmatic beings. They are skilled in various arts (cooking) and are known for their wisdom and keen senses (aesthetics). Elves are typically associated with forests and are guardians of the natural world. In many fantasy worlds, elves often possess a unique language, culture, and a deep connection to their ancestral history (Albanian lands and language).
That said, we wanted to share our love for delicious food, the comfortable living spaces we built, and the serenity of our luscious garden. The brand name naturally morphed into "Elvish Garden"; thus, incorporating the above three elements into one theme: healthy cuisine, comfortable bedding, and serene nature.
At this stage, Elvish Garden is only a small B&B offering only two rooms and a spacious studio which includes a kitchenette, washing machine washing, and drying rack. All rooms have private bathrooms and all of the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Our rooms are designed and decorated to provide our guests with a feeling of warmth, cosiness, and simplicity.
Our guests will have access to a large and natural garden where depending on the season, they can find lemon, orange, mandarin, and kumquat trees, olive trees, several vegetables, and a variety of flowers planted across the yard.
